Tinnitus Diary ("we", "our", "the app") is a personal tinnitus symptom tracking tool that lets you log daily tinnitus severity, triggers, sleep, and characteristics; view trends and correlations; complete the Tinnitus Handicap Inventory self-screening questionnaire; play masking sounds; and export reports for your ENT or audiologist. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

When you export a CSV file or ENT PDF report, the file is generated on your device and handed to the Android share sheet. You choose where it goes (email, drive, messaging app, etc.). Once shared, the receiving app's privacy policy applies.

Tinnitus Diary is a personal tracking tool and is NOT a medical device or medical advice tool. The THI questionnaire is a self-screening instrument, not a diagnosis. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider (ENT specialist or audiologist) for medical decisions. The app does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Tinnitus Diary is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

You can delete your data at any time. Delete individual entries Open any entry in the App and tap Delete. It is removed immediately from the device. Uninstall Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data from your device. Request deletion by email If you cannot access the App, or you want written confirmation that your data has been erased, email us at muhammadilyas15@gmail.com with the subject line "Tinnitus Diary – Data Deletion Request". We will verify the request, delete all associated data, and confirm by email within 30 days. There is no charge for this.
