This Privacy Policy describes how TailorBook ("we," "our," or "the App") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Android application. TailorBook is a tailor shop management app designed to help tailors manage customers, body measurements, orders, and revenue.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Customer Information (User-Entered)

As a tailor using this app, you may enter the following information about your customers:

• Personal details: Customer name, phone number, email address, and physical address
• Notes: Free-text notes related to the customer

This data is entered by you (the tailor) and stored locally on your device. You are the data controller for your customers' personal information (see Section 8).

1.2 Body Measurement Data

TailorBook allows you to record up to 19 body measurement fields for each customer, including but not limited to: chest, waist, hip, shoulder, arm length, sleeve, bicep, wrist, cuff, collar, shirt length, front length, back length, trouser length, trouser bottom, inseam, thigh, knee, and neck measurements.

Important clarification: These are physical body measurements taken for the purpose of garment tailoring. They are not medical or health data. However, we recognize that body measurement data can be considered sensitive personal information, as it describes a person's physical dimensions. We treat this data with appropriate care:

• All measurement data is stored exclusively on your device in a local database
• Measurement data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party
• Measurement data is never used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than garment tailoring
• You have full control to view, edit, or delete any measurement data at any time

1.3 Photos

The App allows you to capture or select photos for two purposes:

• Measurement reference photos: Visual references associated with a customer's body measurements
• Order photos: Design references, fabric swatches, and style inspiration images (up to 10 per order)

All photos are stored in the App's private internal storage on your device. Photos are never uploaded to any server, cloud service, or third party. Photos may include images of people; these remain entirely under your control and on your device.

1.4 Order and Financial Data

You may enter order-related information including:

• Garment type, fabric details, and special instructions
• Pricing information (order price, advance payment)
• Delivery dates and order status
• Revenue and business reports

This is business operational data stored locally on your device. It is not shared with any third party.

1.5 App Preferences

The App stores your preferences locally, including:

• Language selection (English, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic)
• Currency preference
• Dark mode setting
• Premium subscription status

1.6 Automatically Collected Information

The App uses the following third-party services that may collect data automatically:

Google AdMob (Advertising)

• Displays banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements
• May collect device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data
• Subject to Google's Privacy Policy

Google Analytics for Firebase

• Collects anonymous usage statistics such as app opens, screen views, and feature usage
• Collects device information (model, OS version, language)
• Does not collect personally identifiable information
• Subject to Firebase Privacy Policy

Firebase Crashlytics

• Collects crash reports and performance data to help us fix bugs
• Includes device state, stack traces, and app version information
• Does not collect personally identifiable information
• Subject to Firebase Privacy Policy

Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)

• Manages consent for personalized advertising in compliance with GDPR and other regulations
• Your consent choices are respected across all ad-related data collection

Google Play Billing

• Processes in-app purchases (monthly subscription, yearly subscription, lifetime purchase)
• Payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play
• We do not collect or store payment card details
• Subject to Google Play's Terms of Service

2. How We Use Information

• Customer and measurement data: Used solely within the App to manage your tailoring business. Never transmitted off your device.
• Photos: Used solely for visual reference within the App. Never transmitted off your device.
• Order and financial data: Used solely for order tracking and business reporting within the App. Never transmitted off your device.
• Analytics data: Used to understand App usage patterns and improve the user experience.
• Crash data: Used to identify and fix software bugs.
• Advertising data: Used to display relevant advertisements to free-tier users.

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local Storage

All user-entered data (customers, measurements, orders, photos, financial data) is stored exclusively on your device using:

• Room SQLite database for structured data
• Internal app storage for photos

This data is not transmitted to any server. There is no cloud synchronization feature in the current version of TailorBook.

3.2 Data Security

• App data is stored in Android's private app directory, inaccessible to other apps
• Photos are stored in the App's internal storage, not in shared media folders
• No user-entered data leaves your device

3. Data Retention

We keep your information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy.

• All of your entries stay on your device. We operate no server for this data and never receive a copy of it, so there is nothing for us to retain. Your data is kept until you delete the individual entry, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the App. Uninstalling removes all of it from the device.
• Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) — automatically deleted after 90 days.
• Analytics data (Firebase Analytics) — retained in aggregated, non-identifying form for a maximum of 14 months, then automatically deleted.
• Support emails — if you contact us, your message is retained for up to 24 months after your enquiry is resolved, then deleted.
• Purchase records — retained by Google Play for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law. We do not hold separate copies.

4. Data Deletion — How to Delete Your Data

You can delete your data at any time. Delete individual entries Open any entry in the App and tap Delete. It is removed immediately from the device. Uninstall Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data from your device. Request deletion by email If you cannot access the App, or you want written confirmation that your data has been erased, email us at muhammadilyas15@gmail.com with the subject line "TailorBook – Data Deletion Request". We will verify the request, delete all associated data, and confirm by email within 30 days. There is no charge for this.
