Reseller Profit Tracker ("we", "our", "the app") is a personal inventory and profit record-keeping tool for resellers who flip thrift, estate, flea-market, wholesale and online finds. It helps you log items, track them from sourced to sold, and calculate your net profit and ROI after marketplace fees and shipping. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

Reseller Profit Tracker is NOT a marketplace, a payment processor, or a tax/accounting service. We do not connect to, charge, or access any of the marketplaces (such as eBay, Vinted, Depop, Poshmark, or Mercari) that you track in the app. All items, sales, and fees are entered manually by you and stored locally on your device.

By using Reseller Profit Tracker, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

All inventory and profit data is entered manually by you and remains on your device. This includes:

• Item details — name, brand, size, category, source type (thrift, estate, flea, online, wholesale,

free, other), cost, purchase date, status, and notes

• Item photos — pictures you capture with the camera or select from your gallery, stored in the

app's private storage

• Listings — platform, listed price, listing status
• Sales — sold price, platform fee, shipping cost, shipping charged, other costs, and the resulting

net profit

• Marketplace fee presets — platform names and fee percentages/fixed fees (editable by you)
• Sourcing trips — trip details and expenses
• App preferences — default currency, dark mode preference, onboarding state

> Important: The costs, sale prices, fees, and profit figures you enter are personal financial > records. They are stored only on your device in a local Room (SQLite) database, and item photos > are stored in the app's private files. They are never transmitted to us or any third party.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Crash reports — when the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics collects crash logs, stack traces,

device model, OS version, and app version to help us diagnose and fix bugs

• App usage analytics — Firebase Analytics collects aggregated, anonymized usage data (screens

visited, feature usage, session duration, device and locale info) to help us improve the app

• Advertising identifiers — Google AdMob may access your device's advertising ID for ad serving and

frequency capping

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personal identifiers
• We do not require you to create an account or sign in
• We do not connect to or access your real marketplace, bank, or payment accounts
• We do not access your contacts, microphone, or location
• We do not sync your inventory or profit data to any cloud server

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide core app functionality — tracking inventory, calculating net profit and ROI, generating

reports and exports

• Display banner advertisements (free tier) via Google AdMob
• Display optional rewarded advertisements to unlock bonus item slots or a one-time export
• Process the in-app purchase for the Premium upgrade via Google Play Billing
• Diagnose crashes and improve app stability (Firebase Crashlytics)
• Understand feature usage to guide improvements (Firebase Analytics)
• Check for app updates via Google Play In-App Updates

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Local Storage

• All your inventory, sales, and profit data is stored locally on your device using an embedded Room

(SQLite) database

• Item photos are stored in the app's private internal storage
• App preferences are stored in Android SharedPreferences on your device
• Your records and photos never leave your device
• Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all local data

4.2 No Cloud Sync

Reseller Profit Tracker does not offer cloud backup or cross-device sync. Your data exists only on the device where you entered it. If you uninstall the app or switch devices, your data will not be recoverable. You can, however, export your records manually as CSV or PDF files and share them yourself.

4.3 Security Measures

• All network communication (ads, crash reports, analytics, updates) uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
• No authentication credentials are stored — the app has no sign-in flow
• Release builds are obfuscated with R8/ProGuard

5. Permissions

Reseller Profit Tracker requests the following Android permissions:

The app takes item photos by delegating to your device's camera app through a standard intent, so it does not request the CAMERA permission. It requests no location, notification, contacts, or storage permissions.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share your inventory or profit records with anyone.

7. Children's Privacy

Reseller Profit Tracker is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights and Choices

8.1 Access and Control

• You can view, edit, or delete every item, listing, sale, and trip record from within the app at any

time

• You can delete all data by uninstalling the app or using "Clear Data" in Android App Info
• Because data never leaves your device, you have full and exclusive control over it

8.2 Data Portability

• You can export your profit records as CSV or PDF files at any time and share them wherever you choose

8.3 Ad Preferences

• Upgrading to Premium (one-time purchase) removes all advertisements
• You can opt out of personalized ads via your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads)
• You can withdraw ad consent anytime via the in-app consent dialog

8.4 Opting Out of Analytics and Crash Reports

• You can opt out of Firebase Analytics collection by disabling usage & diagnostics data in your

device's Google settings

• Crash reports contain no personal data and are essential for keeping the app stable

9. GDPR Compliance (European Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under GDPR:

• Right to access — because your data is stored only on your device, you already have full access

via the app

• Right to rectification — edit any entry directly in the app
• Right to erasure — delete entries in-app or uninstall the app
• Right to restrict processing — disable analytics/ads via device settings and in-app consent
• Right to data portability — export your records as CSV or PDF from within the app
• Right to object — object to ad personalization via the UMP consent dialog

Reseller Profit Tracker uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain consent for advertising data processing in compliance with GDPR and ePrivacy requirements.

10. Data Retention

We keep your information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy.

• All of your entries stay on your device. We operate no server for this data and never receive a copy of it, so there is nothing for us to retain. Your data is kept until you delete the individual entry, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the App. Uninstalling removes all of it from the device.
• Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) — automatically deleted after 90 days.
• Analytics data (Firebase Analytics) — retained in aggregated, non-identifying form for a maximum of 14 months, then automatically deleted.
• Support emails — if you contact us, your message is retained for up to 24 months after your enquiry is resolved, then deleted.
• Purchase records — retained by Google Play for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law. We do not hold separate copies.

11. Data Deletion — How to Delete Your Data

You can delete your data at any time. Delete individual entries Open any entry in the App and tap Delete. It is removed immediately from the device. Uninstall Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data from your device. Request deletion by email If you cannot access the App, or you want written confirmation that your data has been erased, email us at muhammadilyas15@gmail.com with the subject line "Reseller Profit Tracker – Data Deletion Request". We will verify the request, delete all associated data, and confirm by email within 30 days. There is no charge for this.

12. International Data Transfers

Data collected by Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics, Google AdMob, and Google Play Billing may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where Google operates servers. These transfers are governed by Google's Data Processing and Security Terms and applicable standard contractual clauses.

13. Not Financial or Tax Advice

Reseller Profit Tracker is a record-keeping tool only. The profit, ROI, and export figures it produces are for your personal record keeping and do not constitute tax, accounting, or financial advice. Consult a qualified professional for filing and reporting requirements in your country.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by:

• Updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy
• Posting the updated policy at our privacy policy URL
• Posting a notice within the app when appropriate

Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
