Privacy Policy for Number Spellings
Effective Date: July 30, 2026 Developer: Muhammad Ilyas Contact: muhammadilyas15@gmail.com
1. Introduction
Number Spellings shows children how numbers are written out in English words. Type any number and see its correct spelling — a simple way to practice reading and writing numbers for school.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using Number Spellings, you agree to the practices described below.
2. Information We Collect
We do not collect any personally identifiable information. The app requires no account, no sign-up, and no personal details.
The following limited data is processed automatically by third-party services:
- Advertising identifiers — used by Google AdMob to serve advertisements
- Crash and diagnostic data — device model, OS version, and crash logs sent to Firebase Crashlytics when the app encounters an error
- Anonymous usage statistics — aggregated, non-identifying app usage events collected by Firebase Analytics (for example, which screens are opened)
3. How Information Is Used
- To display advertisements that keep the app free
- To detect and fix crashes and improve app stability
- To understand, in aggregate, how the app is used so we can improve it
We do not sell, trade, or share your information with anyone beyond the services listed below.
4. Third-Party Services
| Service | Purpose | Privacy Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Displays advertisements | policies.google.com/privacy · Ad technologies |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Crash reporting and diagnostics | firebase.google.com/support/privacy |
| Firebase Analytics | Anonymous usage statistics | firebase.google.com/support/privacy |
Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK), the app shows a consent message via the Google User Messaging Platform before serving personalized ads. You can decline personalized ads and still use the app.
5. Data Storage
- All app content and your settings are stored entirely on your device
- There are no user accounts, no sign-in, and no cloud storage
- The app never uploads your data to any server operated by us
6. Children's Privacy
Number Spellings is an educational app whose content is designed to be suitable for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertisements are provided by Google AdMob; every ad request is tagged for child-directed treatment (COPPA) and ad content is capped at rating G, so Google serves only child-appropriate, non-personalized ads. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will address it promptly.
7. Permissions
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
| INTERNET | Required to load advertisements and send crash reports — nothing else |
| ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Lets the ad service check for a network connection before requesting ads |
| ACCESS_WIFI_STATE | Used by the advertising SDK to determine connection type when loading ads |
The app requests no access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or files.
8. Data Deletion
Because everything is stored locally, uninstalling the app removes all app data from your device. To reset the advertising identifier used by AdMob, use your device's Google settings ("Delete advertising ID" or "Reset advertising ID").
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated Effective Date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
