How the trip cost is calculated
With a fuel average in km/l: liters = distance ÷ average, then cost = liters × price. With l/100km: liters = distance × average ÷ 100. Example: 380 km at 12 km/l with fuel at 272.5/liter → 31.67 L → 8,629 total, or 22.7 per km.

How do I calculate fuel cost for a trip?
Divide the trip distance by your vehicle's km-per-liter average to get liters needed, then multiply by the fuel price. For example: 300 km ÷ 12 km/l = 25 L × 280/L = 7,000.
How do I convert l/100km to km/l?
Divide 100 by the value. 8 l/100km = 100 ÷ 8 = 12.5 km/l. Both describe the same consumption; Europe tends to use l/100km, while Asia mostly uses km/l.
What is a good fuel average for a car?
Small hatchbacks typically do 14–18 km/l, mid-size sedans 10–14 km/l, and SUVs 8–12 km/l. Motorcycles commonly reach 35–50 km/l. City traffic can reduce these by 20–30%.
