This Privacy Policy explains how Chore Schedule ("the App") collects, uses, and protects your information. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy.

Information Collection and Use

Data Stored Locally

All chore, room, household member, and completion history data is stored locally on your device using an encrypted local database. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

• Room names and configurations
• Chore names, frequencies, priorities, and schedules
• Household member names
• Chore completion history and logs
• App preferences (theme, reminders)

Analytics and Crash Reporting

We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous usage statistics and crash reports. This helps us improve app stability and user experience. No personally identifiable information is collected through these services.

Data collected includes:

• App usage patterns (screens visited, features used)
• Device type, OS version, and app version
• Crash logs and error reports

Advertising

The free version of the App displays ads served by Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your consent preferences. You can manage your ad preferences through the consent dialog shown when you first open the app.

In-App Purchases

The App offers premium subscriptions and a lifetime purchase through Google Play Billing. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Google Play. We do not collect or store any payment information.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties. The only data shared with third parties is anonymous analytics data with Google (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and AdMob) as described above.

Data Retention

We keep your information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy.

• All of your entries stay on your device. We operate no server for this data and never receive a copy of it, so there is nothing for us to retain. Your data is kept until you delete the individual entry, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the App. Uninstalling removes all of it from the device.
• Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) — automatically deleted after 90 days.
• Analytics data (Firebase Analytics) — retained in aggregated, non-identifying form for a maximum of 14 months, then automatically deleted.
• Support emails — if you contact us, your message is retained for up to 24 months after your enquiry is resolved, then deleted.
• Purchase records — retained by Google Play for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law. We do not hold separate copies.

Data Deletion — How to Delete Your Data

You can delete your data at any time. Delete individual entries Open any entry in the App and tap Delete. It is removed immediately from the device. Uninstall Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data from your device. Request deletion by email If you cannot access the App, or you want written confirmation that your data has been erased, email us at muhammadilyas15@gmail.com with the subject line "Chore Schedule – Data Deletion Request". We will verify the request, delete all associated data, and confirm by email within 30 days. There is no charge for this.

Data Security

Your data is stored locally on your device and is protected by your device's built-in security features (screen lock, encryption). No data is transmitted over the internet except anonymous analytics and crash reports.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App is a general household utility tool and does not target children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
