This Privacy Policy explains how ArborQuote ("the app", "we", "us") handles your information. By using ArborQuote you agree to the practices described here. We designed ArborQuote to be offline and private — your business data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it.
1. Summary
- ArborQuote is a local-only, offline estimate and invoice app.
- We do not operate any account system, and we do not sync your data to our servers.
- All your customers, jobs, estimates, rate profiles, photos, and your certificate of insurance (COI) stay on your device.
- The only data leaving your device is what standard advertising and billing services require to function (see Sections 4–5).
2. Data You Create and Store On Your Device
ArborQuote lets you create and store the following, all held locally in an on-device database (Room) and in the app's private storage:
- Business profile (business name, contact details, insurance/COI number).
- Customer records (names, addresses, phone, email you enter).
- Jobs, estimates, invoices, line items, rate profiles, payments, and materials.
- Photos you attach to jobs (before/after tree images).
- Your certificate of insurance (COI) image.
This information is stored only on your device. We do not have access to it, we do not collect it, and it is not transmitted to us or to any third party. COI images and all job photos remain on your device and are only included in a PDF or export if you personally choose to share it.
If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is permanently deleted from your device. We keep no backup.
3. Permissions and Why We Use Them

Camera and photos: ArborQuote does not request the CAMERA permission. When you add a photo or COI, the app uses the Android system photo picker and the system camera app, so only the images you explicitly capture or select are added — the app has no broad access to your gallery or camera.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
ArborQuote displays ads through Google AdMob (including a rewarded ad option) to support the free version. AdMob may collect and process:
- A device Advertising ID (AAID).
- Approximate, non-precise information (such as general location inferred from IP) and app-interaction/ad-interaction data used to serve and measure ads.
We do not control this collection; it is governed by Google's policies:

Consent (UMP): Where required (e.g., EEA/UK), ArborQuote uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent for personalized ads before ads are shown. You can reset or change your ad-consent choice at any time from within the app.
Premium removes ads: Purchasing the one-time premium unlock disables all ads in the app.
5. Purchases (Google Play Billing)
The one-time premium unlock (arborquote_premium_lifetime) is processed by Google Play Billing. Your payment is handled entirely by Google — we never receive or store your payment card or financial details. Google's handling of purchase data is governed by the Google Play Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.
6. Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not require or offer an account, login, or sign-in.
- We do not sync, upload, or back up your business data, photos, or COI to any cloud or server we control.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or any cloud database for your content.
7. Data Sharing
We do not share your on-device data with anyone. The only third parties involved are Google AdMob/UMP and Google Play Billing, strictly as described above, for advertising and payment processing. Any estimate PDF, invoice, CSV export, or photo is shared only when you initiate it using your device's share/export function.
8. Data Security
Your data is stored in the app's private, sandboxed storage on your device, protected by Android's app-isolation model. Because your business data never leaves the device, its security also depends on your device's own security (lock screen, encryption). We recommend keeping your device secured and up to date.
9. Children's Privacy
ArborQuote is a professional business tool intended for adults (arborists and tree-service operators). It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Your Rights
Because all your business data lives on your device, you are in full control. You can view, edit, export, or permanently delete any record at any time within the app, or remove everything by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it. For advertising data handled by Google, you can manage or reset your Advertising ID in your device's Google settings and adjust ad-consent within the app.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and posting the revised policy at the hosted URL. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Disclaimer
ArborQuote provides estimates and record-keeping tools for informational and business use only. It is not a safety, compliance, or risk-assessment authority. This policy covers privacy practices only and does not alter the app's liability disclaimer.
13. Data Retention
We keep your information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy.
- All of your entries stay on your device. We operate no server for this data and never receive a copy of it, so there is nothing for us to retain. Your data is kept until you delete the individual entry, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the App. Uninstalling removes all of it from the device.
- Support emails — if you contact us, your message is retained for up to 24 months after your enquiry is resolved, then deleted.
- Purchase records — retained by Google Play for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law. We do not hold separate copies.
14. Data Deletion — How to Delete Your Data
You can delete your data at any time. Delete individual entries Open any entry in the App and tap Delete. It is removed immediately from the device. Uninstall Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data from your device. Request deletion by email If you cannot access the App, or you want written confirmation that your data has been erased, email us at muhammadilyas15@gmail.com with the subject line "ArborQuote – Data Deletion Request". We will verify the request, delete all associated data, and confirm by email within 30 days. There is no charge for this.
